A) two of them with two thirds of its area
B) two thirds of their area being in two of them
C) and its area is two thirds in two islands
D) two of them have two thirds of its area
E) which have two thirds of its area in two of them
and the right answer is....
D
ReplyDeleteApart from A and D, all are unidiomatic, and A suggests that both the islands have 2/3 area, which is not possible.
By the way, why is third"S" being used. I thought its two-thirds, seven-tenth, nine-nineteenth etc.
